Project Location: Suisun City, CA Square Feet: 45,600 Construction Cost: $14,500,000 The center was designed as a family center to meet the athletic, cultural and spiritual needs of the community. The amenities provided include a gymnasium, rock climbing wall, dance studio, child care, exercise rooms, swimming pool, meeting rooms, commercial kitchen and auditorium. With a major donation from Ray and Joan Kroc, the founders of McDonald's, Kroc Community Centers have been constructed throughout the United States. The Kroc's wanted to provide a safe, affordable and healthy environment for families to gather, exercise and have fun in. Community rooms and the auditorium are available to rent out for meetings and special events. Fun rooms perfect for birthday parties next to the swimming pool are always in high demand. The Salvation Army, a non-denominational church offers Sunday worship services and other community based assistance. |
